A man was shot outside a library in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday morning, reports say.

About 5:30 a.m. a man was shot in the thigh near the Northeast Regional Library on Cottman Avenue near Oakland Street, according to 6ABC.

Police told the news outlet that two men were seen running south on Oakland Street following the incident and remain at large. No descriptions of the suspects are available.

The victim was taken to an area hospital; his condition is unknown.
