A 24-year-old man was injured while a second escaped unscathed when a gunman opened fire on them in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section late Sunday night.
The shooting happened about 11 p.m. on the 7700 block of Ogontz Avenue, according to police.

The victim sustained wounds to his arm and buttocks, police said. He and a second man reportedly ran from the car they were entering outside a bar when the gunman opened fire, calling for help once they reached an Ogontz Avenue convenience store a few blocks away.
The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment. He was last listed in stable condition, according to police.
