An alleged purse-snatcher was held on $20,000 bail after he tried to steal the purses of two women walking in the South End this weekend.
Viktor Klein, 28, allegedly approached the 25- and 26-year-old women while they walked along Harrison Avenue about 2 a.m. Sunday.
He tried to take one purse, but the woman had it strapped across her chest, police said. He then took the other woman’s purse, which contained her laptop, and fled.
Police later caught up with Klein and arrested him.
