Several employees at the Duane Reade on Wall Street told Metro that Occupy Wall Street protesters, who are being denied access to Wall Street by police, made it into the store this morning.
Protesters made it into the store, located at 40 Wall Street, through its Pine Street entrance, said employees.
The protesters were chased out by store employees and police who were called to the scene, said employees.
The Duane Reade is located within the Trump Building on Wall Street and it is unclear if protesters were trying to use the store to get into the Trump Building.
Police presence remains heavy inside the store, with cops and store security roaming the aisles.
