WESTCHESTER – A Pace University student was shot and killed by police outside a Westchester bar early yesterday.

When police officers approached a car outside Finnegan’s Grill in Thornwood — where they were responding to a report of a rowdy crowd — the car’s driver took off and hit two of them. Two officers opened fire, including one who was reportedly knocked onto the hood of the car.

Danroy Henry, 20, a wide receiver for Pace’s football team, was killed. A junior from North Easton, Mass., he transferred to the school from Iona College. Another person in the car was wounded.
