Patriots going to Super Bowl

The New England Patriots are heading to Indianapolis for the Super Bowl thanks to an terrible - or really lucky - kick in the last seconds.

The New England Patriots are going to Super Bowl XLVI.

With a missed kick by Baltimore Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff in the last remaining seconds, the Patriots were able to hold on to their small lead, take a knee to end the game and become the AFC champions.

The Patriots won the game 23-20. Their opponent will be determined tonight with the winner of the New York Giants versus San Francisco 49ers game.

Pats quarterback Tom Brady admitted that the offense was not as successful as it could have been under his leadership.

"I sucked pretty bad today, but our defense saved us," he said during the AFC trophy presentation. "We're going to try and go out and kick some butt in a couple weeks."
