Pedestrain struck, killed by SEPTA train in Bucks County

The incident happened this morning near the Bristol Station in Bristol. Service is back to normal.

A person was struck and killed by a SEPTA train this morning in Bucks County, officials said.

The incident happened on SEPTA's Trenton line around 8:30 a.m. in Bristol Borough near the Bristol Station. The train was headed inbound to Center City, SEPTA said.

There was no immediate word on the identity of the victim or why they were on the tracks.

Service on the Trenton line was delayed during the police investigation, but has returned to normal, SEPTA said.
