A 22-year-old pedestrian died Thursday night after being struck by a yellow cab that sent her into the path of another taxi on the Upper East Side, police said.
Kelly Gordon, of Brielle, N.J., was walking west on East 84th Street around 11:40 p.m. when she was hit by a yellow taxi going south on York Avenue, throwing her into the opposite lane where a second cab struck her, according to the NYPD.

Gordon was rushed to Cornell Hospitalwith severe head trauma and pronounced dead.
Police said both cab drivers remained at the scene and neither were charged. No criminality is expected, but the NYPD's Highway Collision Investigation Squad is probing the crash.
