Police arrested a 19-year-old Penn State student for allegedly possessing a homemade bomb and the equipment to make more.
Vladislav Miftakhov, 19, a Russian national, an engineering major at Penn State Altoona, is charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction, The Altoona Mirrorreported.
Miftakhov was arrested Friday around 9 p.m. Police allegedly found one bomb and bomb-making materials in a suitcase.
Miftakohv, in addition to charges of possessing a weapon of mass destruction, also faces marijuana possession charges.
He is reportedly being held on $500,000 bail.
