A foodie city like Philadelphia even caters to its sports fans.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has awarded the city with its first-ever Most Vegetarian-Friendly City for Sports Fans award.

The group announced the honor the same time as once again calling Eagles’ stadium Lincoln Financial Field the most vegetarian-friendly in the NFL — the fourth time it received the title.

Citizens Bank Park, where the Phillies play, is already at the top of their list of most vegetarian-friendly ballparks in the majors. And Wells Fargo comes in at three on PETA’s NBA survey.

Vegetarian and vegan options at the Linc include: a vegan steak sandwich, veggie dogs, veggie chicken steak sandwich, veggie wrap, veggie tacos and much more.

PETA Associate Director Ryan Huling said Lincoln Financial Field said the finest meat-free options are as close as the nearest concession stand there. “Any discerning Eagles fan knows that the vegan and vegetarian food at the Linc is in a league of its own.”
