Man vandalizes Chinatown police station, vehicles

A man allegedly went berserk at a Chinatown police precinct building overnight, using a baseball bat to smash the windows to more than a dozen police vehicles outside the Philadelphia Police Department's 6th District building.

In addition to vandalizing 14 police vehicles, the suspect also smashed several windows to the building, located at 11th and Winter streets,6ABC Action News reported.

Police say the suspect, who reportedly was only wearing boxer shorts and boots, was screaming that he was deceased rapper Tupac Shakur as he vandalized the precinct vehicles and building early Wednesday.

Officers were able to subdue the unidentified man without anyone being injured.
