A Philadelphia Police officer was arrested Tuesday in a sting operation by federal authorities for his attempt to rip off drug dealers, reports say.
Jeffrey Walker, who was suspended yesterday and may be dismissed from the force, was caught after he shared his plans to rob drug dealers with an FBI informant.
Authorities tailed the 24-year veteran Tuesday as he allegedly planted cocaine in a dealer's car and then pulled the car over.
During the search and seizure, he stole the dealer's house key, went to the dealer's house after the arrest with the informant, and stole $15,000. FBI officials nabbed him on the way out.
