Tens of thousands New Yorkers crowded along Fifth Avenue on Monday to honor America’s Armed Services in the nation’s largest Veteran’s Day Parade. Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio marched in the parade as did servicemen past and present from all four branches of the military. This marks the 95th year that the parade has taken place in the city. Before the parade, there was a wreath-laying ceremony in Madison Square Garden.
