New York’s hottest firefighters were in Times Square on Tuesday to promote the FDNY’s annual calendar.
The thirteen featured firefighters signed autographs on the FDNY 2015 Calendar of Heroes. Proceeds from the calendar ($15.95 online) go to the FDNY Foundation, the department’s non-profit.
Danae Mines, a firefighter assigned to Engine Co. 60 in the Bronx, is the first woman ever featured in the calendar. Firefighter Joseph Conforti, of Ladder Co. 163 in Queens, was on the cover. (And FYI, he says he’s been single for several months.)
The special-edition calendar celebrates the 150th anniversary of the FDNY. The shots were taken by nightlife photographer Patrick McMullan.
