[PHOTOS] Pint-sized woman robs Quincy bank, police on the hunt

Quincy police are searching for a woman who robbed a bank on Beach Street this morning.

It is not yet clear how much money the woman got away with, but police said she got it by passing a note to a teller at Colonial Federal Savings Bank at 9:48 a.m.

The female bank robber may be the same one that struck the Mt. Washington Bank in South Boston bank on Thursday, according to Quincy police.

She is described as being in her mid-to-late twenties, or early thirties, and being roughly 5-foot-2-inches tall, and 115 pounds.

An employee of the Quincy Parks Department working in the area saw an “older white four door vehicle” – possibly a Toyota Corolla – circling the area before the robbery. It is unknown if this vehicle was involved in the robbery.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video wearing a gray zip up Nike hoodie, blue jeans, white sneakers and a white Nike baseball hat containing a black Swoosh symbol.
