After a cloudy future caused when Superstorm Sandy flooded its headquarters, the Mermaid Parade returned to Coney Island in all its majestic glory Saturday.
The parade was given a new life after fans on Kickstarter raised more than $100,000 to cover the costs of the event. The King Neptune and Queen Mermaid this year were “30 Rock” star Judah Friedlander and “Real Houses of New York” star Carole Radziwill.
