A flight that left LaGuardia on Saturday afternoon landed safely in Bangor, Maine before skidding off the icy taxiway on its way to the terminal, airport officials said.
The 12:53 p.m. Delta flight was taxiing when it slid off the Bangor International Airport tarmac, the nose wheel ending up in the grass.
No passengers were injured. They remained onboard as the plane was towed to the gate and deplaned without further incident.
A week ago, another flight skidded off the icy tarmac at JFK, briefly shutting the airport down while the runways were salted.
