Several passengers suffered minor injuries after a Southwest Airlines plane landed at LaGuardia Airport with a nose gear problem Monday evening.

Following the crash, the airport has been closed until further notice, the Port Authority said, according to NBC.

“Southwest Airlines Flight 345, a Boeing 737 arriving at LaGuardia from Nashville reported possible front landing gear issues before landing,” the FAA said in a statement, according to NBC. “The plane’s nosegear collapsed as the aircraft landed on Runway 4 at 5:45 p.m.”

The flight was carrying 149 passengers, according to the Associated Press.

The nose of the Boeing 737 rested on the runway and emergency crews can be seen surrounding the damaged plane. It was not immediately clear if the the plane landed without its nose gear extended fully or if it collapsed just after landing.

“Standby for more information regarding #Flight345 BNA-LGA,” Southwest tweeted. “We are gathering details and will post a statement soon.”
