An East Mount Airy child was hospitalized Wednesday after being trapped under a 40-inch plasma TV that fell off a wall, according to police.
Investigators said the accident happened around 4 p.m. inside a home on the 1100 block of East Sydney Street.
The 2-year-old child's father walked out of the bathroom to discover his son underneath the 40-inch television, authorities said.
The boy was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was in stable condition Thursday morning.
No charges are expected to be filed in connection with the incident.
