Police arrest man for robberies of Green Line Cafe, W. Phila Chipotle

Torin Myer, 23, of the 3900 block of Baring Street, was recognized by a Drexel police captain who saw surveillance stills of the crimes.

Police arrested a man for multiple robberies at the Green Line Cafe and Chipotle in West Philadelphia Tuesday night.

Torin Myer, 23, of the 3900 block of Baring Street, is charged with the armed robberies of the Green Line Cafe on the 4400 block of Locust Street on April 26, April 30 and May 4 and the robbery of Chipotle on the 3600 block of Lancaster Avenue on May 6, police said today.

Members of the Southwest Detective Division met with the Drexel Police Department Monday and gave out surveillance stills of the suspect. A Drexel police captain then saw a person fitting his description while on patrol.

An investigation revealed him to be the man allegedly responsible for the robberies and resulted in Myer's arrest, according to police.
