Police chase stretches to Boston

Local and state police were searching for at least three people who allegedly stole a car in Randolph and led police on a chase in to Boston where they crashed and fled.

A man in a Randolph apartment complex called police about 5 a.m. to report that he saw a man outside stealing his car, according to the Patriot Ledger.

When police arrived they saw a Honda Civic and a Dodge minivan leaving the complex and followed them.

The minivan fled to Route 128 and then to Interstate 93 North in to Boston where police lost sight of it inside the Tip O’Neill Tunnel.

Police followed the Honda in to Braintree where it eventually drove to I-93 where officers tried to stop it, according to State Police.

The car crashed near Morrissey Boulevard and two people fled from the car.

State Police said they were searching for the suspects.

Speeds reached 80 m.p.h., according to the Patriot Ledger.
