Philadelphia police took a man into custody early Thursday morning after he allegedly left a suspicious package at Planet Fitness in Olney after a dispute over his membership.

Police were called to the gym on the 500 block of Adams Avenue and found a military-style canister with a "Danger, Do Not Open" label on it, CBS Philly reports. The suspect reportedly left the canister after he earlier had threatened to blow up the business during the first of two arguments with gym employees.

The suspicious package was reported by Planet Fitness workers about 2:45 a.m., according to reports.

The suspect, who lives near the gym, was taken into custody a short time later. A bomb squad unit was called in to remove the canister, which was determined to be not explosive.
