A disorderly Boston man who allegedly shouted profanities and threatened MBTA customers was arrested Friday after claiming his name was Rumpelstiltskin, according to Transit Police.

John Kimball, 57 of Boston, is due to be arraigned in Somerville District Court Monday on charges of disorderly conduct for allegedly drinking and displaying "tumultuous behavior" Friday morning at Davis Square MBTA station.

Transit Police said on their blog, "Upon arrival officers observed a male shouting profanities and threats at other patrons. Officers attempted to calm the man but were unsuccessful. The male continued his tumultuous behavior causing other patrons to move away in fear. The male's refusal to leave the station or cease his behavior left the officers with no choice but to place him into custody for Disorderly Conduct. When asked to identify himself the male claimed to be 'Rumpelstiltskin'."
