Philadelphia police are investigating the death of a woman allegedly at the hand of her own dogs last night in the Feltonville section of the city.
Police responded to a report of a person screaming on the 400 block of Carey Street around 6:30 p.m. They found the victim’s husband who claimed his wife had been killed by the family dogs. The 50-year-old woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Police did not release her name.
The Pennsylvania SPCA took the five pitbulls into custody. Police are still investigating the incident.
