A violent car crash claimed the life of a 28-year-old man early Sunday morning and police are investigating what led to the deadly collision.
Norwood Police said officers were called to 382 Walpole St. just after midnight Sunday for a report of a single-car crash. When emergency crews arrived they found the sedan had collided with a utility pole.
The driver of the car, who was not identified, was extricated from the car by fire crews and taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
