Police investigate knifepoint sex assault in Bridesburg

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint in Bridesburg before robbing her.

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted and robbed a woman at knifepoint Tuesday night in Bridesburg.

Investigators said a 24-year-old woman reported around 10:40 p.m. voluntarily entering a vehicle driven by an unknown man on the 2400 block of Kensington Avenue.

When the car came to a stop on the 2900 block of Orthodox Street, the driver allegedly sexually assaulted her at knifepoint.

Police said the man also stole the woman's cell phone, a bus token and $7 in cash before forcing her out of the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-11-inch tall unshaven Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 20s weighing about 210 pounds.

He was last seen operating an older model gray two-door Honda with tinted windows.
