Police are investigating whether human remains found near a Queens shoreline on Thursday night are those of missing autistic teen Avonte Oquendo.

The remains were found shortly after 7 p.m. in the vicinity of Powell Cove Boulevard and Endeavor Place in College Point, about 11 miles from where Avonte went missing more than three months ago.

Police found an arm and legs washed ashore on the rocks of the location. Divers and cadaver dogs found more remains as the search continued this weekend, including teeth and another arm.

The remains were found with sneakers and clothes similar to those Avonte was wearing when he ran from his Long Island City school in October before going missing.

The remains were taken to the Medical Examiner who will determine the cause of death and try to identify them.

“It’s not Avonte until the DNA evidence comes in and says it is,” Avonte’s family’s lawyer, David Perecman, said at the National Action Network on Saturday. “On the other hand, it’s not looking great.”
