Weeks after police made an arrest in the 1991 Baby Hope case, cops are now asking for help in identifying a woman whose body was found along Gravesend Bay more than two years ago.

The woman was found stuffed inside a rolling cart on the rocks near Bay 20th Street and Shore Parkway on the evening of July 17, 2011.

Police re-released a sketch and detailed description of the victim this week. She is described as a Hispanic female in her late 20s or early 30s with brown eyes and dark curly hair. She was approximately 5-foot-7 and 150 lbs., last wearing “ONLY YOU” blue jeans, a black sleeveless top and a black belt with a silver oval buckle.

Police released this photo of the woman's gold tooth this week. The tooth is not believed to have been made in this country. (Credit: DCPI) Police released this photo of the woman’s gold tooth this week. (Credit: DCPI)
