Boston police are asking for the public’s help in solving a recent fatal shooting in Jamaica Plain.
Police on Wednesday released a surveillance image of a car seen in the area of a fatal shooting earlier this week.
The shooting took place about 8:30 p.m. Easter Sunday near 104 Minden St. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he later died. Police have not yet released the name of the victim.
Sunday’s shooting was one of a recent spate in which multiple people had been shot in about six incidents in the past week.
Police said the car in the picture, a Ford Flex, was seen in the area near the time of the shooting.
