Police seek mentally impaired Queens man missing since Monday

Police as looking for a mentally disable Queens man who was last seen leaving an East Harlem Hospital on Monday.

Officials identified Israel Jardinez, 24, as a "missing vulnerable adult" unable to care for himself due to a severe brain disorder.

Jardinez was seen leaving Mount Sinai Hospital on April 7 at around 5:45 after he left a doctor's appointment.

CBS reported that Javier, who lives in Richmond Hills, Queens, might be traveling along the city's subway system.

Police describe Jardinez as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds, with a partially closed left eye. He was seen wearing a black jacket with a "Mi-Raza" logo, tan pants, a black and white hoody and sneakers.

Cops are asking for anyone with information in regards to this incident to call the department's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS, or tosubmit tips online.
