VIDEO: Police seek suspect in Germantown attack on blind man

The vicious attack happened just after noon on Oct. 2 at the intersection of Seymour Street and Wayne Avenue.

Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help identifying an attacker who targeted a blind man in Germantown last week.

The vicious attack happened just after noon Oct. 2 at the intersection of Seymour Street and Wayne Avenue.

The suspect knocked the victim to the ground, then proceeded to repeatedly stomp and kick him in the face and head.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his mid-20s. The suspect was wearing a tan baseball hat, a tan shirt and khakis, and he was carrying a dark backpack. He fled south on Wayne Avenue.
