Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects after a 54-year-old man was stabbed during a home invasion in Torresdale late Wednesday.
The crime happened a little before 11 p.m. on the 9300 block of Walker Street, CBS Philly reported.
The two men reportedly followed the victim to his home and forced their way inside. One of the intruders stabbed the victim in his chest.
The suspects fled with an iPad and Oxycodone pills when they heard sirens approaching, according to the report. The victim was able to push a medic alert device on a table inside his apartment, drawing first responders to his home.
The victim was rushed to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus. He has been treated and released.
