Officers responding to a call about a stabbing on Sunday shot and killed a man who allegedly lunged at them.

Two NYPD officers rushed to 60 Clarkson Ave. after they received an emergency call on Sunday that a woman had been stabbed in Flatbush.

Cops arrived at the six-story building in Brooklyn at around 10:30 p.m. where they found the victim bleeding from the shoulder in the lobby before making their way to the second floor, where they found the suspected assailant.

Once inside the apartment, the 39-year-old male charged toward the officers with a pair of scissors in hand, according to police.

Authorities said the officers then pulled out their guns and shot the suspect, striking the man's hand and torso and killing him at the scene.

EMS took the victim to Kings County Hospital Center, where she was still listed as in stable condition. The officers were taken to Maimonides Medical Center and treated for tinnitus.

Investigators said there were no other victims and recovered the scissors from the scene, but were unable to confirm any motive for the attack as of yet.

Sunday night's incident was the third police-involved shooting within a three-day period. Police shot a robbery suspect in the Upper East Side Friday afternoon, and cops shot and injured a man who allegedly pointed a firearm at them early Sunday morning.
