Police have arrested three people for allegedly slashing the tires or keying the bodies of more than 35 vehicles in the Graduate Hospital area between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Officers first responded Friday around 5:15 a.m. to multiple reports of car vandalisms on Carpenter Street and Bainbridge Street between 17th and 18th streets.

Investigators with the South Detective Division on Friday afternoon released a video to the public showing three people believed to be responsible for the vandalisms.

A witness on Friday contacted police and identified those allegedly shown on camera as Bianca Beck, 23, of the 1900 block of South 13th Street in South Philadelphia; David Whitfield, 31, of the 4500 block of North 9th Street in Hunting Park and David Baker, 29, of the 900 block of Station Avenue in Langhorne.

The suspects were notified by detectives and turned themselves in without incident.

All three were arrested on Friday and arraigned on Saturday.

They are each charged with 39 counts of criminal mischief, possessing an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy.

All three suspects are next due in court for a status hearing on July 3.
