President Obama visiting Boston on Wednesday

President Barack Obama will be in Boston on Wednesday for a few DNC events in Cambridge and South Boston.

President Barack Obama will be visiting Boston this week to attend several democratic party events.

A Democratic National Committee official said President Obama will be in Boston on Wednesday evening and will attend a roundtable discussion in Cambridge and a dinner in South Boston, according to the State House News Service.

The Cambridge event will include about 25 supporters while the dinner in South Boston at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter will host about 70 supporters.

Earlier on Wednesday, Obama will be joined by Gov. Deval Patrick, as well as other New England governors, at Central Connecticut State University where he will speak about raising the minimum wage.
