Radiohead will play at Zuccotti Park at 4 p.m., say ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protesters

It has been officially confirmed by the Occupy Wall Street camp that Radiohead will put on a show today at Zuccotti Park, where protesters have been camped out for almost two weeks.

The rumor has been circulating on the web for most of the morning and Metro just received confirmation from Occupy Wall Street’s media spokesperson Patrick Bruner that Radiohead is, in fact, expected to play a short set at the park around 4 p.m. Friday.

Radiohead played sold out shows the last two nights at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. People were pretty desperate for tickets for those concerts, so an impromptu show by the band could cause quite a stir downtown.
