Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is ready for you to ask him anything.
The city’s new mayor will participate in an online chat on Thursday afternoon. The Reddit AMA (ask me anything) will take place at 2:30 p.m.
Walsh announced the chat on his Twitter page and with a short Vine video with a cameo from the Reddit logo.
“Hi. I’m Mayor Marty Walsh. Join me the 24th at 2:30 for my Reddit ask me anything,” Walsh said in the video clip.
Walsh joins many celebrities and other politicians who have participated in the online exchange.
One of Walsh’s biggest changes to City Hall since becoming mayor earlier this year has been his use of technology and social media. He’s hosted multiple chats with Twitter users, has data screens inside his office and now his participation in the Reddit chat, as well as the way he announced it, are just the latest examples of his leveraging of technology.
