A member of the New England Patriots was apparently tackled for trying to get into a party in Colorado and, no, it wasn't Rob Gronkowski.
Wide receiver Wes Welker and a group of friends were tried to get in to a Patron party at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen last week when security officials stopped them, according to a report in today's New York Post that cited unnamed sources.
Welker and friends took issue with security at the party and police were called in. Officers threatened to arrest the group, but they were calmed down by security and escorted away from the party, according to the Post.
