Revere police are hoping the public can help them identify and find a man who was allegedly involved in stealing a car while a child was still inside of it.

Revere police on Sunday released surveillance images of a person who has been the subject of a manhunt by authorities since last week. He is wanted for taxi fare evasion, larceny of a motor vehicle and kidnapping, police said.

The man in the image was one of two men who were picked up by a taxi in Boston's South End before 11:20 a.m. on Friday. The men got into a fight with the taxi driver over the fare and fled the cab while it was stopped at the Northgate Shopping Center in Revere.
