PORT RICHMOND. A 3-year-old boy caught in the fire Tuesday that ripped through a home on East Richmond Street died yesterday as fire officials tried to piece together what caused the blaze.
The boy, identified as Nicholas Budzilo, died from smoke inhalation yesterday morning at St. Christopher’s Hospital.
His two young brothers, ages 1 and 5, remain hospitalized, along with their pregnant mother and grandfather.
