Robyn Mello: Occupy Philly organizer missing since Friday (UPDATED)

UPDATE: From Occupy Philly’s Facebook page around 7 a.m. this morning: “Robyn Mello has contacted her brother!!! @OccupyPhilly thank you everyone for your help and support!”

Family and friends have posted messages on Facebook and Occupy Philly’s web page earlier today after Mello, 24, disappeared and hasn’t contacted anyone, they have said.

According to the message on OccupyPhilly.org from Sunday:

“People from the Occupy Philly camp are looking for a 24-year-old woman named Robyn Mello. She has spoken at recent GA meetings and was interviewed by Philly.com within the past few days. She was last seen on Thursday 10/13. She was involved in education, media and messaging with the Occupy Philly group. Her belongings are at the camp in her tent, but she is missing. She could have gone to another Occupy location in NYC or Delaware. Please contact the police if you have seen her, and please contact her brother, Nathan.”

Here is a clip of Mello, speaking to Action News (Channel 6 Philadelphia) Friday after a vandal unaffiliated with Occupy Philly threw green paint on a City Hall entrance near the encampment.
