Over five months after Superstorm Sandy ravaged the city, 62-year-old Keith Lancaster was found dead in his Rockaway Beach trailer, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Lancaster was reportedly found on April 5 by a friend who hadn't heard from him and stopped by to check on him.

The medical examiner's office arrived to find water marks up to five feet high on the trailer walls. A calendar still remained, reportedly unchanged since before the storm, and prescription medication bottles were strewn about. An autopsy confirmed drowning as the cause of death.

He was never reported missing by family, and his body has not been claimed. The medical examiner's office reportedly did not know the identity of the friend who found him.
