NEWARK – Melvin Jovel, 21, who plead guilty to murder and weapons charges in September, was given three life sentences for his part in the execution-style murders of three peers in a New Jersey schoolyard. Prosecutors say Jovel and five others lined up the victims against a wall and shot each in the head in 2007.
