Are you ready to get your ice cream on?
The annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl starts Tuesday. The three-day all-you-can-eat ice cream festival will attract thousands of people during its run.
Starting Tuesday and lasting through Thursday, the event is open from noon until 8 p.m.
Nearly a dozen ice cream companies will be scooping out a variety of ice cream and frozen yogurt flavors. This year is the 32nd for the festival. More than 20 tons of ice cream will be served to about 74,000 people, according to organizers. The event has raised more than $4.1 million for cancer research during the last 31 years.
While online ticket sales have closed, they can still be purchased at the event or at participating Walgreens.
