A month after a 23-year-old recent Northeastern University graduate was killed in a hit-and-run in Roxbury, police are still trying to find the driver.

Andy Prior, an American Sign Language major, was riding his motorized scooter near Columbus Avenue and Tremont Street when he was hit by what police believe was a Hyundai Santa Fe.

In an effort to generate leads, police on Friday released video of the car leaving the scene of the crash.

“Detectives believe that the [car] has heavy front-end damage to the front right tire and headlight. Detectives are asking auto body shops to be vigilant and contact authorities if they receive a customer seeking repairs to this type of vehicle,” police said.

Members of Prior’s family traveled to Boston last week to memorialize him.

“Knowing that there’s somebody out there that is able to live with themselves through this holiday season and know that all of these people … will be living in incredible pain through the holiday season is very difficult,” his brother John told WBZ-TV.
