See the NYC Marathon from 700 feet

In case you just can’t get enough of 2011 New York City Marathon coverage, check out this neat time-lapse video created by the MTA. It’s a view of the race from atop the 693-foot-tower of the Verrazano-Narrows bridge.

Every year, the runners start in Staten Island and cross the bridge into Brooklyn. This year, more than 47,000 runners ran the historic race, its largest turnout yet.
