SEPTA’s Market-Frankford line is now up and running

Service has been restored to SEPTA’s Market-Frankford elevated line following an early-morning four-alarm fire at a warehouse near the Girard station.

The transit agency had been running shuttle buses between the Huntingdon and Spring Garden stations this morning into the afternoon while inspectors made sure there was no structural damage to the el and fire crews demolished a wall threatening to collapse onto the tracks.

Those issues have been resolved, and the train is back up and running.
