There is no cause for concern. This is only a drill.
That's the message SEPTA wants to get out in advance of its simulated subway attack at its Fairmount station Sunday morning.
The drill is scheuled for 8:30 a.m. at the Broad Street Line station located at Broad and Fairmount Avenue.
The drill will involve SEPTA and Philadelphia emergency and first-response personnel, as well as about 100 volunteers who will act as victims.

There is an explosion in the SEPTA subway system, the cause of which is not immediately clear. SEPTA and city-wide emergency personnel are activated. The exercise will test plans for a coordinated response to an emergency incident, including a terrorist attack. The drill will also cover practices for investigating unattended or suspicious bags and packages.
