Settlement in pension scandal

Hank Morris, former Democratic consultant and adviser to state Comptroller Alan Hevesi, accepted a plea deal on corruption charges. The plea agreement still required a judge’s approval. Morris was indicted last year following a probe by state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and accused of taking $15 million while working with the state’s pension fund. He could get up to four years in prison.
