Sex abuse charges for Scout leader

A Braintree man who worked as a Cub Scout leader and religion teacher was ordered held on $50,000 bail Monday for charges of sexual abuse of a child.

BRAINTREE – A Braintree man who worked as a Cub Scout leader and religion teacher was ordered held on $50,000 bail Monday for charges of sexual abuse of a child.

Michael Cimmino, 54, pleaded not guilty to eight counts of indecent assault and battery on a person under 14, according to the Quincy Patriot Ledger.

Cimmino allegedly inappropriately touched a child known to him.
